Always Green and Gorgeous Artificial Turf

Pride of Ownership Synthetic Grass Installation for Your Home or Business

Artificial Grass Hacienda Heights

Artificial Grass Hacienda Heights raises professional turf installation to another level. Few turf companies can say they've been around more than 12 years. This longevity is rare in this industry, as installing artificial turf is as much an art as it is a skill. We started out as artificial turf installation specialists, not landscapers, gardeners, or general contractors. Our experience and focus is what has helped us grow into one of Southern California's most trusted synthetic grass contractors.

We know what to do as well as what not to do when it comes to turf installation. Since we are truly the experts by reputation and not by empty boasting, we carefully educate our clients as to the proper installation method for all types of artificial turf.

We don't want you paying for something you don't need, nor scrimping on something that makes or breaks the longevity of your turf. We'd rather walk away from a job than do a bad turf installation. Our consultants will treat your artificial turf project as if it were their own home. We pride ourselves on explaining the installation process and why it is important to follow this process.

Customer service is paramount in our company! We strive to be the best, and the number of years we've been in business can attest to that. You will not find a contractor that installs synthetic turf better than us. We don't ask for final payment until you are completely satisfied and you have a smile on your face when you look at your newly installed turf. And by the way, we don't collect 50% deposits like some companies do. That is against CA code. (see below).

Many companies will try and sell you their most expensive turf when, in actuality, there are pros and cons to installing synthetic grass, pet turf, playground grass, or synthetic putting greens.

When you are presented with samples, they may look very different without the turf infill, which acts as ballast. But once the silica sand or cooling agents are applied, you actually can't tell the difference. (Yes, turf can get hot, but we'll talk about that in a moment).

Why do you want to install artificial grass? This is a question most companies don't ask, and it's the most important question that will help us to help you. We will better be able to guide you to the perfect fit for your home improvement project. Are you planning on installing an above-ground-pool? Do you have lots of kids using the yard? Pets? Big ones or small ones? We work off of your "WHY".

The benefits of artificial grass over natural sod

There are a number of reasons people are choosing to replace their lawn with synthetic grass:

  • Water Cost: Water rates are going up at an alarming rate. To the left is a rate increase table for the Rowland Water District for the next five years. There is talk of installing submeters in some cities to determine how much water is wasted on landscaping
  • Maintenance: Face it; too many people spend time and money maintaining, fertilizing, and watering lawns, but never enjoy the lawn other than looking at a big green spot in the yard. Irrigation issues, gophers, weeds, and mowing are a thing of the past when you install maintenance free artificial grass. Your new artificial turf will look the same regardless of the season. Set it and forget it!
  • Water conservation: Face it; we live in a desert. Water conservation is becoming a more important part of our lives. You can install cactus and succulents and create a desert landscape, or you can install a beautiful artificial grass lawn that is useable.
  • Exposure to toxic substances: Your children and pets are being exposed to toxins every day. Fertilizers and pesticides are a real issue in lawn maintenance. Imagine what an infant is exposed to when they're crawling across the lawn? Our artificial turf products are completely safe for pets and children. There are no harmful chemicals or lead. You can rest easy when your children are out playing on your new artificial grass. In addition, insects normally do not like to nest in artificial turf, so it is an added bonus.
  • Drainage: Did you know artificial turn drains approximately 50% faster than natural sod? No more mud puddles to wade through.
  • Clean feet: When it rains, or when your children are playing in the pool, they end up tracking mud into the house or across the yard. Now your pet's paws will be mud free when coming in from the rain!
  • Handicap access: Some artificial turf has a low pile, enabling wheel chairs and physically challenged family members to enjoy the yard. Low pile synthetic grass may reduce the problems that canes, walkers, and wheelchairs have on natural sod.
  • Pet turf: Do you love your pets but you're fed up with them ruining the lawn so your family can't enjoy it? Let us show you our premium pet turf. Great for dual use - kids and animals!

Did you know state law limits a contractor to a 10% deposit of the total job cost or $1000?

Sadly, we're running into too many homeowners who have been ripped off by unlicensed turf installers.  Unfortunately, we can't help the homeowner after the fact, but hopefully we can educate you before you hire the wrong people.

California law states that a contractor can only ask for a deposit of 10% or $1000.00, which ever is less.

We're being called out to finish jobs where the homeowner gave the installer deposits up to 50%. The turf installer does a little work, (usually incorrectly),and never return. Even if the artificial turf contractor is licensed, do not give them more that the above stated deposit. This is the first red flag that you're dealing with an irreputable company.

And NEVER allow an unlicensed synthetic turf contractor to work on your home. They are not properly insured to protect you if one of their workers get hurt on your property. You would then be liable for the injury.

We've been installing artificial grass in Southern CA since 2007. There's a reason we're still here. Professionalism speaks for itself!

Types of turf

There are different heights of turf (the pile height) and each has it's purposes. However, a higher pile is probably not the best choice for turf that will have heavy traffic. A little something called gravity will make that turf lay down after a while, and your turf won't have that fresh-cut look for very long.

The weight of the turf also plays an important role in the longevity of your new artificial grass. Different synthetic grass products are made specifically for light, medium, or heavy traffic applications.
